About Us

Everyday electronics, chosen with care

Jan Device is the online store of Jan Johannes Cornelis Scherff, an independent consumer-electronics retailer based in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. We focus on practical products that make daily routines more comfortable: portable fans for warm days and digital alarm clocks for calmer mornings.

What we sell

Our fan collection includes handheld, neck, stroller and tripod models, most of them USB-rechargeable and designed to move easily between home, work and travel. Our clock collection includes compact LED and LCD alarm clocks with clear displays, adjustable brightness, dual alarms and convenient USB power.

How we choose products

We keep the range small and useful. Every product is selected for clear specifications, simple controls and a build that suits everyday use. We publish the dimensions, materials and power details supplied by the manufacturer, and we avoid exaggerated claims. If a detail is important to you and is not shown on the product page, ask us before ordering and we will confirm it.

Orders, delivery and support

Orders are checked and dispatched from Eindhoven within 1-2 business days. Shipments are tracked, and delivery usually takes 1-3 business days in the Netherlands and 3-7 business days elsewhere in the EU. If something is not right, you can return unused items within 14 days of delivery. Our support team answers in English, Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00 CET.
